Fred  Bass

At my heart, I am a storyteller.  Whether through my writing, directing, editing my own short film, or a corporate client, a family portrait, a wedding or a personal photo, there is a story to be captured and shared.  It would be an honor to discover, capture and share your story.

 

 

My personal journey with the art of storytelling began in 2007 when I purchased my first Canon T2i camera.  Wrote, filmed and edited my first short film “The Last Gift”.  The love affair began.  In my attempt to become a better master behind the camera in capturing images and light, I immersed myself in still photography, portrait and landscape.  The learning lessons became a passion and I truly love the challenges, opportunities and rewards of working with still and motion.  What I have discovered in this continuing journey is just how much I love capturing life through the lens and learning the depth of this art form that never ends…and thank goodness for that.  It is one of the things that excites me each day that I rise out of bed.

 

My process is one of collaboration.  I learned the valuable lessons on my first few films sets that it takes a “caring” group of people,  actors, cinematographers, grips, to work together to create the “magic”.  Whether you are someone working to share a story with your corporate clients, your family or friends, through the medium of film or photography, let's get together and create something special.
